Zoom SSH-6E Stereo Shotgun Microphone Capsule for H6 Essential

Capture professional-grade audio with surgical precision using the SSH-6e mid-side shotgun microphone, designed to record both direct sound and ambient detail with exceptional clarity. This advanced microphone employs mid-side recording technology, giving you complete control over your stereo image while maintaining hyper-directional audio capture capabilities.

The innovative mid-side technique separates your recording into two distinct elements: the Mid capsule focuses on direct sound pickup, while the Side capsule captures an expansive stereo field. This dual-capsule approach allows you to fine-tune the balance between focused audio and environmental sounds, creating the perfect mix for your specific recording needs.

Built with Zoom’s latest Capsule System 3.0 connector technology, the SSH-6e ensures rock-solid connections and supports 32-bit float recording for maximum dynamic range. The microphone also offers RAW recording functionality, meaning you can adjust stereo width during post-production rather than being locked into decisions made during the initial recording session.
