ZOOM R4 MultiTrak 32-Bit Float Recorder

Musicians know that the best ideas often come when you're deep in the creative flow, and the Zoom R4 is built to capture every ambitious composition without compromise. Designed by engineers who are musicians themselves, this compact recorder features a unique dedicated 'bounce track' alongside 32-bit float recording technology, making it the perfect tool for layering complex musical arrangements.

The R4's innovative bounce track system allows you to record up to four tracks, mix them down, and then bounce the result to free up space for additional layers. You can choose between a quick bounce or mix in real time, and if you're not happy with the results, simply undo your last bounce and try again. This workflow empowers you to build intricate compositions without the limitations of traditional four-track recording.

Professional features include dual AD circuitry with 32-bit float recording, two XLR/TRS combo inputs for instruments and microphones, plus a built-in omnidirectional microphone for instant recording. The colour LCD display makes navigation simple, while built-in effects including EQ, reverb, compression, and guitar effects provide everything you need for polished recordings. Four dedicated faders give you tactile volume control, and the USB audio interface function integrates seamlessly with your computer setup.

Powered by four AA batteries or external USB-C battery, the R4 offers the portability to capture inspiration wherever it strikes, making it an essential tool for songwriters, producers, and musicians ready to explore their biggest creative ideas.
