Zoom H6essential 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder

The H6essential stands as Zoom's flagship handheld recorder, delivering professional-grade audio capture through its revolutionary 6-track 32-bit float recording system. Built with dual A/D converters, this recording powerhouse eliminates the guesswork from gain staging whilst capturing an enormous dynamic range that ensures clip-free recordings every single time. The innovative Essential Series design prioritises accessibility with comprehensive voice guidance available in seven languages, allowing blind and visually impaired creators to navigate menus through built-in speakers or headphones with complete confidence.

At the heart of the H6essential lies the upgraded 3.0 capsule system, now supporting 32-bit float recording and offering creators the flexibility to match their microphone choice to their specific recording needs. The included X/Y microphone capsule handles sound pressure levels up to 135 dB SPL, whilst the detachable design allows for low-profile setups when required. Four XLR/TRS combo inputs with locking connectors provide rock-solid connections for multiple instruments or vocalists, making this unit a genuine portable studio solution.

Professional workflow integration comes standard with USB-C connectivity that supports PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices, functioning as a 32-bit float audio interface whilst simultaneously recording all six tracks to SD cards up to 1TB capacity. The optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adaptor unlocks remote control capabilities and timecode synchronisation for seamless audio-video workflows. With its colour LCD display, built-in mixer controls, improved onboard speaker, and impressive 10-hour battery life, the H6essential delivers the reliability and versatility that serious content creators demand.
