Zoom H2 Essential Mulit-Mic 32-Bit Float Handy Recorder

The H2essential breaks new ground as the only Handy Recorder featuring three internal microphones, delivering unprecedented flexibility for content creators. This innovative design combines two cardioid mics positioned front and rear with a bi-directional mic facing side to side, allowing you to select the ideal pickup pattern for any recording scenario. Choose from 120, 90, or MONO patterns to capture exactly what you need, whilst the Mid-Side stereo pickup ensures professional-quality audio from multiple directions.

Recording in 32-bit float up to 96kHz eliminates the guesswork of gain setting, guaranteeing pristine audio quality every time. The USB-C connectivity transforms the H2essential into a versatile USB microphone for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices, with the added benefit of simultaneous SD card recording. This dual functionality makes it perfect for video podcasts, live streams, and mobile video production where professional audio is essential.

Advanced features include low cut filtering, pre-record, auto record, and playback speed adjustment, whilst MS Raw recording allows post-production control over stereo image width for ambient noise management. The unit's accessibility features stand out with audible menu descriptions available in seven languages through the built-in speaker or headphones. Powered by two AA batteries providing 11 hours of operation, AC adapter, or USB mobile battery, the H2essential supports micro SDHC/SDXC cards up to 2TB and includes both 3.5mm external mic/line input and line/headphone output connections.
