This flagship unit combines the tonal DNA of history’s greatest amplifiers with six original amp models that span everything from 80’s British crunch to gritty vintage warmth and modern drop-tuned aggression. Zoom’s top engineers have developed entirely new tonal palettes that push creative boundaries beyond traditional amp modelling.

The G11 introduces groundbreaking effects alongside beloved classics, featuring innovative distortion and modulation processors. Razor Drive employs comb filtering to control saturation at specific frequency resonance points, creating unprecedented distortion textures, while Wave Shaper uses original algorithms to generate harmonically rich waveforms. The modulation section includes PolyShift for modern pitch shifting across two octaves, Geminos for real-time triple overdubbing that adds organic thickness to chords and sustain to leads, and SwellVibe – a unique vibrato that modulates from signal start with time-lagged pitch modulation affecting only the sustain portion.

Cabinet simulation receives serious attention with 22 modelled cabinets plus 70 pre-loaded impulse responses captured using different microphones and positions. You can import up to 130 additional IRs for expanded sonic flexibility. The 5-inch colour touchscreen makes sound construction intuitive through drag-and-drop functionality, while familiar stompbox controls and amp panel layouts maintain that hands-on feel. Additional features include a 5-minute looper, 68 built-in rhythm patterns across multiple genres, and comprehensive connectivity for external effects and MIDI synchronisation.

As a complete audio interface for Mac and PC, the G11 connects directly to your DAW via USB for seamless recording. Bluetooth connectivity links wirelessly to the Zoom Guitar Lab app, and with the optional BTA-1 adaptor, you gain access to an extensive library of amps, effects and artist patches through the Guitar Lab software platform.
