The B6 multi-effects processor redefines bass tone with its groundbreaking 88.2 kHz effects processor — double the rate of competing units — ensuring your high-end frequencies remain crystal clear. The all-new analogue circuit works in harmony with the DI section to dramatically improve your instrument’s low-frequency response. Zoom has carefully modelled four iconic DI boxes, including Tube 1 with its vacuum tube character and rich harmonics, Tube 2 offering clear attack with tight low frequencies, and Solid State 1 providing moderate compression and sharp tones while protecting against low-frequency loss when using upright bass with piezo pickups.

Dual inputs allow seamless A/B switching between electric bass, synth, or acoustic bass, with adjustable impedance settings from 1M to 10M ohms for cleaner tones with piezo-equipped upright basses. The B6 houses 11 of history’s finest amp models plus new additions, alongside simulations of 12 classic bass cabinets, each offering three variations based on microphone positioning. This comprehensive collection includes Zoom’s legendary effects library enhanced with 10 brand-new options.

The 4.3-inch colour touchscreen enables intuitive drag-and-drop effect arrangement, building your perfect signal chain in seconds. Four distinct Play Modes adapt the touchscreen and footswitch layout: Effect Board mode provides visual pedal chain representation, Bank and Patch mode enables scrolling through your collection, Memory mode organises patches for live performance, and Looper mode creates recordings up to two hours long, saved directly to SD/SDXC cards. With 68 rhythm patterns across various styles and tempos, plus micro-USB connectivity for DAW recording and Bluetooth compatibility via the optional BTA-1 adaptor, the B6 also pioneers accessibility features through the Handy Guitar Lab app’s VoiceOver support for visually impaired users.
