Zoom AM7 Rotating Mid-Side Capsule for Android Devices

The Am7 microphone turns your Android™ device into a professional-grade recording studio, making it the ideal companion for music videos, video podcasts, and vlogging projects. This versatile microphone ensures your videos sound as impressive as they look, with three distinct pickup patterns to choose from: 90° standard stereo for focused recording, 120° for capturing a wider sonic landscape, or Mid-Side configuration for complete control over your stereo image.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the Am7 features a rotating microphone position that aligns perfectly with your camera for seamless video recording. When you’re focusing purely on audio capture, simply rotate the mic to the dedicated audio position and point your phone directly at the sound source like a traditional handheld microphone. The unit also supports selfie mode recording, putting you right in the centre of the action.

Professional-level control comes standard with the Am7’s large front-facing MIC gain knob and LED level metres, allowing precise input level adjustment. The built-in headphone jack provides essential monitoring capabilities before, during, and after your recording sessions. Complete your mobile recording setup with the Zoom Handy Recorder App, available through Google Play, which enables you to record, edit, and share your audio creations directly to platforms like Soundcloud or Google Drive.
