Zildjian's Reflexx Workout Practice Pad is a dual–surface training tool engineered for drummers serious about developing technique across grip types and velocity ranges. Unlike conventional pads, this 6" pad pairs thicker, softer construction with targeted muscle conditioning surfaces designed to build control, strength, and endurance. The distinguishing feature lies in its dual–compound design: each side offers markedly different feedback characteristics to isolate specific movements and muscle groups during focused practice sessions.

The Flexx surface measures ¾ inch thick and delivers medium resistance with responsive rebound, accommodating arm, wrist, and finger techniques across the full velocity spectrum. The opposing Workk surface is ½ inch thick, presenting higher resistance and significantly reduced bounce, yet remains audibly responsive–eliminating the dead feel of pillow–based alternatives. This asymmetrical pairing allows practitioners to transition between surfaces for upper and lower arm work, wrist–specific movements requiring larger motion ranges, and low–to–medium velocity drills without changing equipment.
