Zildjian K Paper Thin 19 inch K2819 Crash Cymbal

Derringers Music is pleased to present the Zildjian K Paper Thin 19″ Crash Cymbal.

Celebrating its 400th anniversary, Zildjian is including the introduction of new Zildjian K Paper Thin crash cymbals. They’re the thinnest crashes in the entire K family and the largest paper thin cymbals Zildjian has ever produced.

Featuring a 3-step hammering process, these K Paper Thin cymbals have a dark and explosive crash with a quick decay that many Derringers drummers find useful for medium-to-loud accents and effects.

As strong as they are slim, the Paper Thin cymbals deliver an explosive dark crash with a fast decay, and with a smooth feel and response. Crucial to the tone of these cymbals is a redesigned three-step hammering process, which enhance flexibility and tonal detail that make up the signature sound of these crashes. Very thin profiles produce extra shimmer when crashed, delivering a low-end resonance not found anywhere else in the K range.

The K Paper Thin crashes’ larger sizes also give them lower pitches and overtones, great for soft cymbal rolls that underscore dramatic sections of music.

Thanks to new advancements by Zildjian’s R&D team, the Paper Thin Series joins the iconic K Family with 18", 19", 20", 21" and 22" crash offerings that blend the popular Paper Thin qualities with the characteristics unique to larger cymbal sizes.
