Zildjian A Custom 14" EFX Cymbal

The Zildjian A Custom 14" EFX Cymbal brings trashy, aggressive attack to the A Custom line with a design built around raw special effects. Laser–cut holes and a thin profile create a dramatically fast decay and bone–dry tonality that cuts through dense mixes. This cymbal delivers immediate response with minimal sustain, making it a go–to for accents, stacks, and percussive punctuation that sits outside traditional crash or ride territory.

Zildjian's A Custom alloy responds with bright, focused projection across every playing style. The 14" diameter offers quick articulation without overwhelming stage volume, while the laser–cut perforations reduce mass and accelerate decay to near–instantaneous choke times. Bell strikes produce a sharp, cutting tone that maintains clarity even under aggressive playing. The cymbal works equally well as a standalone effect or stacked with other cymbals to create hybrid textures and layered attack characteristics that expand sonic palette beyond conventional setups.
