Zildjian 5B Wood Tip Drumsticks

The 5B Wood Tip from Zildjian delivers dependable performance for drummers who need a balanced stick across multiple playing situations. Built from hickory, this model measures 16 inches in length with a diameter of .600 inches (1.52 centimetres), placing it firmly in the medium–weight category. The medium taper provides controlled rebound and response, while the oval wooden tip produces clear, defined cymbal articulation with warmth that nylon tips can't match. Hickory construction ensures durability without excessive weight.

The 40.64–centimetre shaft offers enough reach for comfortable kit navigation, and the .600–inch grip diameter suits most hand sizes without feeling bulky or undersized. That medium taper transitions smoothly from shoulder to tip, balancing front–weight for speed with enough mass behind the stroke for volume when required. The oval wood tip creates a focused contact point on cymbals and drums, delivering tone that's both articulate and musical across all playing surfaces.
