Yamaha THR10II Portable Amplifier

Yamaha's THR series revolutionises home practice by creating an entirely new category of amplifier that breaks away from the traditional approach of simply shrinking larger amps. Using Yamaha's patented Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) technology, these innovative amps simulate each circuit component and their interactions to authentically recreate the nuanced sound and feel of boutique tube amplifiers that guitarists crave.

The comprehensive tonal palette includes three banks of five guitar amp models spanning pristine cleans to crushing high-gain tones, plus dedicated bass amp models, mic models for acoustic-electrics, and flat voicings for versatile connectivity. Eight natural effects are handled by dual circuits – one managing stompbox-style modulation effects and another providing delays and reverbs, with additional compressor and noise gate options available through the THR Remote editor software.

Developed in collaboration with Yamaha's award-winning AV division, the THR delivers genuine hi-fi stereo sound through specially-designed speaker enclosures optimised for both guitar and audio playback. Extended Stereo Technology creates an impressively wide, spacious audio image that adds remarkable depth to your sound despite the compact form factor.

Modern connectivity features include Bluetooth support for audio playback and the THR Remote mobile editor app, plus third-party footswitch compatibility. USB Class Compliant connectivity ensures effortless plug-and-play operation with PC, Mac and mobile devices without driver installation, making the THR-II series perfect for recording applications as a complete audio interface solution.
