Yamaha's TAS1 C TransAcoustic® guitar merges acoustic instrument craftsmanship with onboard effects processing, eliminating the need for external gear. The concert cutaway design pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, delivering authentic acoustic tone shaped by the SYSTEM78 TransAcoustic electronics. Built-in reverb, delay, and chorus effects integrate directly into the signal path, whilst Bluetooth® connectivity and USB-rechargeable power (adaptor included) enable wireless audio streaming and portable operation.
Construction centres on traditional tonewoods: mahogany neck, walnut fretboard, and a 650 mm scale length with 44 mm nut width suited to fingerstyle and chord-driven playing. The control layout spans reverb, chorus, delay, and line-out volume, with dedicated LINE OUT and Bluetooth Audio connections for studio or live mixing. Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze light-gauge strings (12–53) ship installed, whilst the included hard bag provides transport protection. This instrument functions as a self-contained recording and rehearsal tool without sacrificing acoustic resonance or playability.
