YAMAHA TAS1 C TransAcoustic Guitar (Natural Gloss)

Yamaha's TransAcoustic® line represents a genuine departure from conventional acoustic design. The TAS1 C merges a concert–cutaway body with built–in digital effects and Bluetooth® connectivity, eliminating the need for external processing gear. Solid Sitka spruce paired with mahogany back, sides and neck delivers authentic acoustic tone while the onboard SYSTEM78 electronics apply high–fidelity reverb, delay and chorus directly to the source.

The 650 mm scale length and 44 mm nut width suit fingerstyle players and strummers alike, whilst the walnut fretboard and open–gear chrome tuner support precision setup and stable intonation. Controls for reverb, chorus, delay and line–out level sit easily accessible; Bluetooth audio and USB line–out connections enable direct–to–device recording or amplified performance without additional preamps. The USB–rechargeable battery system includes adaptor, minimising cable clutter during writing, rehearsal or live use.

Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze Light strings (12–53 gauge) ship installed and are matched to the TAS1 C's tonal character. A hard bag provides roadworthy protection. The natural gloss finish preserves wood grain clarity whilst resisting fingerprint accumulation, making this instrument equally at home in the studio, rehearsal space or onstage.
