Yamaha Stage Custom 22in Euro Drum Kit with Hardware Deep Blue Sunburst

The Yamaha Stage Custom 22” EURO kit in Deep Blue Sunburst represents a drum platform built on three decades of refinement. Since 1995, this series has earned credibility among touring and session drummers by pairing 100% birch construction with hardware engineering borrowed from Yamaha's professional lines. The birch shell material delivers the sonic signature Yamaha drums are known for—articulate attack, controlled decay, and tight separation between voices—without the price tag of their flagship kits.

Construction centres on six-ply, 7.2mm birch shells hand-lacquered to reveal natural grain character, paired with Absolute Lugs that feature internal lug-locking mechanisms to prevent tension bolt creep during play. The Enhanced Sustain System (Y.E.S.S.) couples traditional ball mounts and clamps with tom suspension tuning that preserves resonance while minimising hardware-induced dampening. This 22” bass drum configuration ships with 10” and 12” toms, 16” floor tom, and 14” snare, all supported by the HW780 hardware pack—a setup sized for smaller clubs and studio work without sacrificing tonal range.

Yamaha's shell sizing programme extends from 8” to 24” diameters, enabling custom configurations across jazz, pop, and rock applications. The hand-lacquered finish quality matches aesthetic standards found in kits costing significantly more, while metal components throughout reflect design principles proven in higher-end models. This is a drum kit built for drummers who prioritise tonal consistency and reliable hardware over cosmetic frills.
