The PSR‐E583 features an impressive collection of 890 high‐quality Voices and 345 preset Styles, covering modern genres, classic sounds, and a wide range of global music traditions. Increased internal storage allows for richer, more detailed instrument tones, while Super Articulation Lite adds realism to guitars, winds, and other expressive instruments by recreating performance nuances.

Live control is at the heart of the PSR‐E583. Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels, Live Control Knobs, Motion Effects, and an assignable Expression Pedal input give performers real‐time command over tone, dynamics, and movement. Creative tools such as Quick Sampling, the Looper function, Auto Chord Play, and advanced Track Control allow you to build arrangements, remix sections, and adapt performances on the fly.

Comprehensive connectivity makes the PSR‐E583 ready for modern workflows. A microphone input with built‐in vocal effects supports singing performers, while USB‐C audio and MIDI enable easy connection to computers and smart devices.
