Yamaha NTX3 Nylon Acoustic Electric Guitar with Gigbag

The NTX3 acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar breaks down barriers between classical and contemporary playing styles, offering electric and steel-string guitarists an accessible pathway into the rich, warm world of nylon-string sounds. Part of Yamaha’s innovative NX Series®, this instrument combines modern design elements with traditional classical guitar beauty, featuring contemporary body styles and proprietary preamp and pickup systems specifically developed for live performance applications.

What sets the NTX3 apart is its player-friendly design approach, incorporating a slimmer neck profile and narrower nut width compared to conventional nylon-string guitars. This familiar feel enhances playability for musicians transitioning from electric or steel-string instruments, while the thinline body design provides an ergonomic shape that accommodates performers accustomed to electric guitar comfort. The lightweight, balanced construction reduces fatigue during extended playing sessions, making it equally suitable for stage performances and studio work.

The guitar’s visual appeal is enhanced by an elegant oval rosette that maintains classical essence while embracing modern aesthetics. Built with renowned Yamaha craftsmanship, the NTX3 delivers exceptional playability and tone quality. The inclusion of strap buttons and the exceptional Atmosfeel™ pickup system provides consistently superb amplified sound regardless of volume level, making this instrument particularly appealing to performing guitarists who demand reliable, professional-quality sound reproduction in live settings.
