Yamaha GL1 Guitalele Small Sized Guitar

Experience the perfect fusion of guitar versatility and ukulele portability with the Yamaha GL1 GL Series guitalele. This innovative instrument bridges the gap between two beloved string instruments, offering guitarists a compact alternative that maintains familiar six-string playability whilst delivering the charm of a smaller-bodied instrument.

The GL1 features a spruce top construction paired with locally sourced tonewood for the body, creating a balanced tonal foundation. A rosewood fingerboard provides smooth playability, whilst the durable maple bridge ensures reliable string anchoring and sustain. The instrument is pitched higher than conventional guitars, giving it a distinctive bright character that sits beautifully in both solo and ensemble settings.

With its 433mm scale length and nylon string configuration, this guitalele offers comfortable fretting and a gentle playing feel. The compact design makes it an excellent choice for travel, practice sessions, or situations where space is at a premium. An original gig bag is included, providing essential protection and convenient portability for musicians on the move.
