Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Yamaha GC22S GC Series classical guitar showcases premium European spruce construction that sets it apart from ordinary instruments. The solid spruce top features a breathable shellac finish that not only protects the timber but allows the wood to resonate freely, creating the rich, full sound that classical guitarists demand.
Traditional craftsmanship meets modern precision in the guitar's construction, with kerfed linings secured using time-honoured hide glue techniques. This approach ensures rock-solid alignment between the top and sides, providing both structural stability and optimal vibration transfer throughout the instrument. The ebony fingerboard offers smooth playability, while the rosewood back and sides contribute warmth and depth to the overall tonal character.
The classic Yamaha CG body shape enhances both the visual appeal and acoustic properties of this fine instrument. Complete with a reinforced carrying bag, the GC22S is ready to accompany you to performances, music festivals, guitar gatherings, or wherever your musical journey takes you.
