Yamaha APXT2 Exotic Wood Tobacco Brown Sunburst Finish

Compact yet powerful, the Yamaha APXT2 electric-acoustic folk guitar brings professional-grade performance to a travel-friendly 3/4 size format. This well-crafted instrument serves as a scaled-down version of Yamaha’s globally acclaimed APX500III, making it an ideal companion for musicians who need portability without compromising on quality. The APXT2 proves perfect for road trips, casual jam sessions with mates, or any situation where a full-size guitar might be impractical.

At the heart of this compact guitar lies Yamaha’s ART-based pickup system, paired with the company’s proprietary tuner technology. This combination provides exceptional sensitivity and accuracy, allowing for quick and precise tuning adjustments. The electronic components maintain the high standards expected from Yamaha’s acoustic-electric range, ensuring reliable performance in both practice and performance settings.

Construction-wise, the APXT2 showcases Yamaha’s commitment to both quality and environmental responsibility. The guitar features locally sourced tonewood where possible, supporting sustainable procurement practices while minimising environmental impact. The spruce top combines beautifully with the rosewood fingerboard and neck, creating an instrument that’s as visually appealing as it sounds, with tonal characteristics that punch well above its compact size.
