The Warwick RockBass Corvette MultiScale 5String brings German engineering discipline to a working bassist's price point. This five-string electric bass features a 34-inch scale length paired with a two-piece solid ash body and four-piece laminated maple neck reinforced with dual carbon bars running from the 12th to 24th fret. The wenge fingerboard sports 24 jumbo titanium-brass alloy frets finished with Invisible Fretwork Technology for seamless playability, while glow-in-the-dark side dots ensure stage visibility in low-light conditions.
Active electronics power passive MEC MM pickups with open pole pieces, controlled via volume, balance, and two-band EQ for treble and bass shaping. The copper-shielded electronic compartment and pickup routings with shielding paint minimise interference. Warwick's two-piece 3D bridge maintains 16.5mm string spacing across a nut width of 45mm, while the 26-inch fingerboard radius and Just-A-Nut III Tedur nut support consistent action. Chrome hardware complements the Nirvana Black Transparent Satin finish, and the bolt-on construction keeps the weight at approximately 4.4 kilograms.
The bass ships stage-ready with Warwick Red Strings stainless steel set (.045,.135), S-Security Locks, a Warwick strap, fret protector, and RockBass Starline Premium gig bag. The Easy-Access electronics compartment and truss rod cover simplify maintenance, while included tools, trussrod wrench, 1.5mm hex key, microfibre cloth, and 9V battery, cover setup adjustments. The two-way steel trussrod and dual carbon reinforcement bars stabilise the neck under string tension across all five strings, delivering reliable tuning stability for extended sessions.
