Warm Audio’s WA-67 changes everything by bringing that same smooth, creamy tone to your studio at a fraction of the cost. Built around the renowned EF86 pentode tube, this microphone excels across vocals, guitars, drum overheads, pianos, brass and strings with the same sonic character that made the original so coveted.

The heart of any great microphone lies in its capsule, and Warm Audio understood this completely when developing the WA-67. They meticulously recreated the original capsule design, ensuring identical hole patterns and crafting the entire assembly from brass, including the mounting rings. This attention to detail costs more and takes longer than using mixed materials, but the results are undeniable – the WA-67 sounds absolutely stellar with that distinctive chewy character of the original.

Beyond the capsule and EF86 tube, Warm Audio loaded the WA-67 with premium components including high-bandwidth polystyrene capacitors, boutique Wima polypropylene caps, and a large Solen output capacitor. The custom large-core Lundahl transformer from Sweden plays a crucial role in delivering the buttery smooth high-frequency response and expansive three-dimensional sound.
