This FET transformerless condenser microphone features three polar patterns and a fully discrete design that excels across professional studios, home recording setups, live performances, and broadcast applications. At the heart of this microphone lies a custom K47-style capsule reproduction (model# WA-47-B-80v), meticulously crafted by an Australian manufacturer to match the original’s hole pattern and frequency response. This same capsule design is used in Warm Audio’s flagship WA-47 tube condenser, ensuring authentic vintage tone characteristics. The low-noise discrete signal path combines high-quality Toshiba FETs, WIMA film capacitors, and Panasonic electrolytic capacitors to create a modernised circuit that maintains the sonic signature of the original ‘47.

Warm Audio developed their own capsule line after recognising that quality affordable capsules meeting their specifications simply weren’t available in the market.
