The Level control provides ample headroom, while the Mode switch selects between classic clipping or a harder–hitting, tube–like response via cascaded MOSFET stages. This ensures adaptable performance whether used alone or within a full pedalboard.

Internal DIP switches extend the pedal’s tonal versatility further. The Fat option adds increased low–frequency warmth, while the Diode setting introduces an additional clipping diode for tighter, more saturated drive. These adjustments allow the Compulsion Drive to shift between four classic circuit variations, making it highly flexible for a wide range of guitars, pickups and amplifiers.
