Vox Giulietta VGA-3PS Archtop Acoustic Electric Guitar - Trans Red

The VOX Giulietta VGA–3PS redefines what a modern archtop guitar can be, combining the classic aesthetic appeal of traditional designs with innovative engineering solutions that address the common limitations of full–sized instruments. This compact single cutaway archtop features a carefully balanced smaller body paired with a full–scale neck, creating an instrument that remains comfortable for extended playing sessions while maintaining exceptional tonal versatility. The reduced size not only improves playability but also significantly reduces feedback issues that plague larger archtops at stage volumes.

At the heart of the Giulietta’s exceptional sound lies the patented VOX Hybrid Bridge System, which combines a traditional wooden base with a specially–developed laminated wood/aluminium top section. This innovative bridge houses a proprietary piezo system with a compensated one–piece saddle that provides quick response and even string–to–string output. The unique material combination widens the frequency response, adding sparkling high harmonics while significantly increasing sustain, creating tones that rival quality flattop acoustics with bright, glassy highs and defined low–end response.

The guitar’s electronics are thoughtfully integrated without compromising the instrument’s natural resonance. Volume and tone controls are discreetly mounted on the pickguard in classic archtop fashion, while a low–cut pot allows for custom bass response tailoring. The USB rechargeable preamp provides 8 hours of playing time with just 1–2 hours of charging, eliminating the need for a battery compartment that would dampen the wood’s natural vibrations. VOX has also included a removable string mute to prevent over–ring – a common issue where bridge–mounted piezos amplify unwanted string vibrations between the bridge and tailpiece – ensuring pure, clean sound reproduction.
