Channel the legendary sound of Queen’s Brian May directly through your headphones with the amPlug Brian May guitar headphone amplifier. Developed by Vox in collaboration with the iconic guitarist himself, this compact device recreates the distinctive tone of Brian’s Red Special guitar and cranked AC30 amplifier setup. The AC30 + Treble Booster setting puts Brian May’s instantly recognisable sound literally in the palm of your hand, making his classic tone accessible to guitarists everywhere.
Beyond authentic tone reproduction, the amPlug Brian May includes backing rhythms featuring the famous “We Will Rock You” stomps and claps, letting you jam along to classic Queen tracks through your headphones. The “Brighton Rock” stereo delay setting with tap tempo creates a wall of AC30 sound, perfect for recreating Brian’s call-and-response guitar work from songs like “Brighton Rock” and “Now I’m Here”.
Three carefully designed onboard effects complete the package: a phaser that captures Brian’s swirling live sound from the Wembley era, plus a rich chorus effect. Simply connect the amPlug to your guitar via the built-in jack, plug in standard headphones, and you’re ready to rock. Running on 2xAAA batteries with up to 15 hours of battery life, you can play all night long with Brian May’s legendary tone at your fingertips.
