The Vox amPlug 2 Cabinet transforms the company's headphone amp series into a standalone tabletop speaker system with 2W of output power. Designed to dock directly with any amPlug 2 headphone amp via a dedicated jack, this compact cabinet mirrors the classic Vox amplifier aesthetic while delivering significantly more volume than headphone–only playback. The enclosure also functions independently as a self–contained mini amplifier when a guitar or bass is plugged straight into its input.
Output power reaches 2 watts, providing enough headroom for bedroom practice and casual jamming sessions without relying on headphones. The cabinet accepts direct instrument connection when used without an amPlug, effectively serving dual roles as both a docking station and a standalone practice amp. An auxiliary input accommodates external audio sources, allowing musicians to play along with backing tracks or recorded material. The enclosure's design reproduces the signature grille cloth and control panel styling found across Vox's full–size amplifier range.
