Drummers worldwide have been clamouring for extended versions of their favourite sticks, and Vic Firth has answered with the 55A — a longer take on their beloved 5A/5B hybrid design. This model represents the natural progression of player feedback, offering that extra reach and power that serious musicians have been requesting.

The American Classic® drumstick series has maintained its position as the go-to choice for countless drummers across three decades of professional use. Its proven track record speaks to the quality and reliability that has made it a staple in drum kits around the globe.

Within the “Extreme” range of the American Classic® series, each model features an additional 1/2″ of length compared to standard versions. This extra length provides drummers with enhanced reach and increased power potential, addressing the specific needs of players who require that additional performance edge in their playing.
