Vic Firth Balter Basics BBB8 Medium Rubber Blue Mallets (Birch)

Vic Firth's Balter Basics BBB8 mallets deliver bright, articulate tone across keyboard percussion. The medium weight and birch construction offer straightforward performance without unnecessary frills. Blue rubber heads produce clear attack and sustain, making these mallets dependable for vibraphone, xylophone, and marimba work in rehearsal and performance settings.

The medium hardness rubber head balances responsiveness with durability across repeated strikes. Birch shafts provide consistent flex and weight distribution, critical for control during fast passages and dynamic variation.
