Vic Firth Balter Basics BBB7 Hard Rubber Yellow Mallets (Birch)

Vic Firth's Balter Basics BBB7 mallets bring professional–grade control to vibraphone and xylophone work. Built on a hard yellow rubber head mounted to a birch shaft, these mallets deliver articulate tone with consistent attack–point precision. The hard compound cuts through ensemble playing without muddying pitched percussion voicing.

The BBB7 design sits within Vic Firth's keyboard mallet range, engineered for players who need clarity and definition across dynamic playing. The yellow rubber formulation resists wear during frequent use, while the birch shaft provides responsive flex and durability. Weight and balance favour control over power, making these mallets suited to both single–note passages and rapid figure work across the keyboard.
