Vic Firth American Classic Extreme 5B Drumsticks Nylon Tip

For more than three decades, drummers across the globe have trusted American Classics® as their go-to drumsticks. The original wood tips established the foundation, with nylon variants later introduced to provide enhanced durability and a brighter tonal character. Vic Firth pioneered the development of nylon tips that precisely match their wooden equivalents, giving drummers the flexibility to move between the warm richness of wood and the crisp brilliance of nylon whilst maintaining consistent feel and balance.

Our advanced injection moulding process ensures the nylon tips remain securely attached — they won’t chip or detach during performance, backed by our guarantee. Similar to the popular 5BN model, this stick offers increased power and extended reach for drummers seeking greater projection and dynamic range.
