Vic Firth American Classic 8D Wood Tip Drumsticks

For more than three decades, American Classics® drumsticks have earned their place in the hands of drummers across the globe. Originally crafted with wood tips, the range expanded to include nylon options that provide enhanced durability alongside a brighter, more cutting sound. Vic Firth pioneered the development of nylon tips that precisely match their wooden equivalents, giving players the freedom to move between the warm richness of wood and the brilliant clarity of nylon without compromising on feel or balance.

The advanced injection moulding process ensures these nylon tips won’t chip or separate from the stick — that’s our guarantee. Similar to the popular 7A model but offering additional reach, these sticks provide the perfect balance of control and extended playing capability for drummers seeking that extra length without sacrificing precision.
