Vater MVTS3N Articulate Tenor Stick (Pair)

The Articulate marching stick brings the precision of drum set playing to the marching field with its distinctive small round nylon tip design. Originally crafted for drum set players, this innovative stick has been specifically adapted for indoor drum lines who need that sharp, cutting attack without excessive volume. The nylon tip provides excellent rebound characteristics and produces a crisp sound that cuts through ensemble playing, making it an ideal choice for snare and tenor drummers in indoor percussion settings.

Beyond its primary application on marching drums, the Articulate stick performs exceptionally well on cymbals, cowbells, and various accessories commonly found in modern marching percussion setups. This versatility allows drummers to maintain consistent feel and response across different instruments within their kit, streamlining their performance approach during complex indoor shows.

Vater officially launched in November 1991, though the family’s drumstick craftsmanship began years earlier in the basement of Boston’s renowned Jack’s Drum Shop, creating custom pieces for discerning players. Operating from their Holbrook, Massachusetts headquarters, Vater now produces hundreds of different models and has earned the trust of world-class drummers including Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, and Josh Freeze. Their commitment remains straightforward: manufacturing the finest drumsticks and percussion accessories available globally.
