Vater MVB3 Marching Bass Drum Mallet (Single)

These professional timpani mallets are precision–engineered for 24"–26" drums, featuring a distinctive handle design that measures .780" at the grip, tapering down to .600" before expanding back to .790" just behind the mallet head. This carefully crafted profile provides optimal balance and control for serious percussionists working with large timpani.

The Vater brand officially launched in November 1991, though the family's drumstick heritage stretches back decades to their humble beginnings crafting bespoke items in the basement of Boston's legendary Jack's Drum Shop. From those early days, the company has grown into a respected manufacturer with headquarters in Holbrook, Massachusetts, developing hundreds of different models that serve professional musicians worldwide.

Today, Vater's roster includes world–renowned artists such as Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, and Josh Freeze, testament to their commitment to producing the finest drumsticks and percussion accessories available. Their straightforward mission remains unchanged: to create the very best percussion tools in the world for discerning musicians who demand nothing less than excellence.
