Unleash the full potential of your tube amp without the volume constraints that have plagued guitarists for decades. The Torpedo Captor is a reactive loadbox that serves as the little brother to the award-winning Torpedo Reload, designed specifically for modern recording applications and live venues where traditional amp setups simply aren't practical. This innovative device allows you to push your amplifier to that magical sweet spot where the best tones live, without needing to blast through a 412" cabinet or deal with noise complaints from neighbours and venue staff.
Built around Two notes' acclaimed reactive technology, the Captor perfectly mimics the impedance of a real speaker cabinet, ensuring your amp responds exactly as it would when connected to traditional speakers. For live applications, the unit features an analog speaker simulation derived from the respected Le Preamp series, providing detailed and focused sound for monitors or front-of-house systems. The direct speaker THRU or ATT output gives you the flexibility to maintain a cabinet on stage at full volume or with a fixed -20dB attenuation, keeping your amp in its optimal zone while maintaining manageable stage volumes.
The recording capabilities are enhanced through the included Wall of Sound (WoS) plugin, a comprehensive speaker and microphone simulation software that works seamlessly with major Digital Audio Workstations like Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, and Reaper. Your Torpedo Captor registration includes 16 virtual cabinets compatible with WoS and all Torpedo hardware units including C.A.B., Live, Studio, and VB-101. Once you've explored the included cabinet collection, the in-app Two notes Boutique provides access to additional premium cabinet simulations to expand your tonal palette further.
