Turbosound NuQ122-AN 2-Way 12" Powered Loudspeaker w/ Klark Teknik DSP Technology

The NuQ122-AN powered loudspeaker brings professional-grade sound reinforcement to any venue with its robust 2,500-watt Class-D amplification and precision-engineered 12" driver system. This versatile 2-way full range speaker excels across multiple applications including FOH, sidefill, delay line, and wedge monitoring configurations. Built for both portable and permanent installation use, the NuQ122-AN operates independently without requiring external controllers, making it an ideal choice for venues demanding reliable, high-quality audio reproduction.

At the heart of this system lies a 12" low frequency driver featuring a low mass voice coil for enhanced transient response, paired with an aluminium dome 1" neodymium compression driver. The high frequency component mounts to a carefully designed 70° x 70° dispersion waveguide that minimises distortion while providing consistent coverage. Power comes from an efficient Klark Teknik 2,500-watt Class-D amplifier, while sophisticated Klark Teknik DSP processing includes dynamic EQ for full range response at lower volumes and transparent limiting that maintains clarity during high output operation.

The rear panel interface centres around an LCD display and single rotary encoder, offering intuitive access to position compensation, user EQ control, subwoofer integration and signal routing functions. Connectivity options include balanced XLR input and output for daisy-chaining additional speakers or subwoofers, plus an onboard USB port for PC-based remote control and DSP firmware updates. ULTRANET capability via dual locking etherCON™ connectors allows transmission of up to 16 channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data through a single CAT5 cable, significantly streamlining installation workflows.

The trapezoidal cabinet construction utilises 15mm birch plywood finished in durable semi-matt black paint, protected by a powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille. Multiple threaded rigging points accommodate suspension in any orientation, while the separately available NuQ122-FY flying yoke kit adds permanent installation flexibility. Additional mounting options include a 35mm pole socket for standard stands, integrated transport handles, and mains power connection via Neutrik powerCON™ connector.
