The iQ8 powered loudspeaker combines raw 2,500-watt power with sophisticated digital intelligence to redefine what portable sound reinforcement can achieve. This two-way system features an 8" low frequency driver with low mass voice coil for superior transient response, paired with a high temperature 1" compression driver utilising copper clad aluminium voice coil technology for extended high frequency reproduction. The lightweight yet efficient two channel KLARK TEKNIK Class-D power amplifier provides impressive output whilst maintaining portability for both fixed installations and mobile applications across music and speech reinforcement scenarios.

At the heart of the iQ8 lies a sophisticated KLARK TEKNIK Digital Signal Processor that manages dynamic EQ for remarkable full range response at low volumes, plus transparent limiting for clarity at high output levels and long-term reliability. The advanced DSP includes detailed speaker modelling presets that accurately replicate some of the audio industry’s most respected loudspeakers. KLARK TEKNIK’s innovative Spatial Contour Control (SCC) function allows users to optimise frequency response based on physical placement, providing compensation for stand, floor, wall or ceiling mounting similar to adjustments found on studio reference monitors.

The rear panel amplifier module houses a comprehensive user interface with LCD display, Channel A and B gain controls, and a single rotary encoder providing intuitive access to level, EQ, speaker modelling, SCC, subwoofer integration and feedback control functions. Connectivity includes two combination balanced XLR/jack inputs, balanced XLR outputs for each independent channel, Mix Out XLR connector, plus mic/line switches and level controls with signal present LEDs. The proprietary ULTRANET technology enables CAT5 cable transmission of pristine multi-channel audio signals between compatible products, eliminating RFI and crosstalk whilst reducing setup time.
