The Tone City Audio Mini Series Wild Fire Distortion Pedal packs the punch of a 100‐watt tube amp into a compact, pedalboard‐friendly format. This analog distortion pedal specialises in bringing high‐powered amp gains to low wattage clean amplifiers, making it perfect for guitarists seeking classic high gain tones without the bulk. The true bypass design ensures your signal remains pristine when the pedal is disengaged.
Simple yet effective controls make the Wild Fire incredibly easy to dial in. The clip switch offers two distinct voicing options — flick it up for thicker modern Marshall‐inspired tones, or down for classic overdriven tube‐inspired sounds. Fine‐tuning is achieved through the Volume, Tone and Gain knobs, with the pedal capable of mid‐gain operation when the Gain is set to 9 o’clock and the Clip switch is off.
Built for aggressive high gain applications, this compact distortion sounds much bigger than its physical size suggests. While it won’t go completely clean, the Wild Fire’s versatility shines in both high and mid‐gain scenarios. The pedal features 500K input impedance and 10K output impedance, requiring a DC 9V adapter for power rather than batteries.
