Toca 10" & 11" Synergy Series Congas w/ Stand (Transparent Black)

The Toca Synergy Series Congas (model TOC2300TB) deliver professional–grade tone and responsiveness in a transparent black finish. Manufactured by Toca, a brand with deep roots in hand–crafted percussion, these congas are built from sustainably harvested plantation wood lathed and finished by skilled musicians in Thailand. The pairing of a 10” and 11” head diameter set provides complementary pitch range for versatile ensemble work, whether in traditional Cuban styles, Latin fusion, or world music contexts.

Construction centres on a 28” two–ply wood shell with natural rawhide heads–the traditional choice for authentic conga tone and dynamic response. Hardware is finished in black powder coating for durability and a cohesive aesthetic. The included stand system eliminates the need for separate mounting, making these congas accessible for studio setups and touring rigs alike. Natural rawhide offers superior tuning range and responsiveness compared to synthetic alternatives, rewarding both technique refinement and expressive playing.

Toca's commitment to environmental responsibility doesn't compromise craftsmanship. Plantation–sourced timber reduces pressure on primary forests whilst supporting local communities where production occurs. This approach resonates with musicians seeking instruments built with both sonic integrity and ecological consideration. The Synergy Series strikes a practical balance between affordability and build quality, making these congas suitable for recording, rehearsal, and live performance across a range of budgets and experience levels.
