Teenage Engineering TX6 Ultra Portable Pro Mixer & Audio Interface (Black)

The TX–6 portable mixer redefines what’s possible in a compact audio production tool, now available in sleek black alongside its original finish. This 6-channel stereo mixer packs serious punch with built-in equaliser, filters, compressor, aux send, cue functionality and digital effects all housed in precision-engineered anodised aluminium with PU leather backing. Beyond mixing duties, it serves as a multi-channel USB-C audio interface for seamless recording and streaming across macOS, Windows, and iOS platforms.

Dubbed the ‘Swiss army knife’ of portable mixers, the TX–6 goes well beyond traditional mixing capabilities. Each of the six stereo input channels features individual effect sends, EQ and compression controls, while master effects, cue output, and onboard MIDI clock with beat-syncing round out the professional feature set. The unit also incorporates a built-in synthesiser and drum machine, making it a complete music production station in an ultra-portable package.

Versatility reaches new heights with the TX–6’s unique design flexibility – turn it on its side and it transforms into a DJ-style crossfader specifically for channels 5 and 6. This innovative approach to mixer design makes it equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in the DJ booth, proving that powerful audio tools don’t need to compromise on portability or functionality.
