Teenage Engineering OB-4 Magic Radio Portable Bluetooth Loudspeaker (Black)

The OB4 magic radio redefines portable audio with its revolutionary endless looping tape that captures and memorises everything you play. This incredible sounding hi-fi stereo features wireless audio, line-in connectivity, and represents the true evolution of radio technology. With its unique rewind and remix capabilities, you can grab, spin and interact with sound using intuitive digital-motion controls that respond to your touch.

Four precision-engineered speaker elements work in harmony to create pure quality sound with a stereo field that fills entire rooms. The flow-optimised bass reflex duct collaborates with environmental surfaces to produce deep, natural bass response. Built for outdoor use and public spaces, the OB4 can be carried comfortably on one shoulder with speakers facing toward your head, though it’s worth noting that passers-by are assumed to share your musical taste.

The high-capacity lithium polymer battery provides exceptional endurance – up to a week of normal radio listening or approximately 40 hours average playback on a single charge. For those who prefer maximum volume, expect around 8 hours of continuous play. The iconic folding handle doubles as both a carrying solution and adjustable stand for relaxed listening positions.

Beyond traditional inputs like line-in, Bluetooth and FM radio, the OB4 offers a special disk mode featuring three distinct functions: ambient, karma and metronome. The hardware platform supports both high-definition Bluetooth classic and the emerging BLE audio standard, ensuring compatibility with current and future devices.
