Tech 21 YYZSH Geddy Lee MP40 Limited Edition Signature Sans Amp

Tech 21 pays homage to Rush's legendary bassist with the Geddy Lee YYZ Shape-shifter Signature SansAmp, a limited edition pedal that captures the essence of the "Moving Pictures" era in both sound and aesthetics. This special release maintains the distinctive colour scheme and graphics found across Geddy's entire signature range, including the GED-2112 rackmount, DI-2112 desktop unit, and original YYZ single footswitch pedal, while incorporating all the advanced features of the MP40 platform.

The YYZ Shape-shifter stands out with its selectable Boost stomp switch, adding 12dB of presence boost for enhanced top-end distortion when you need that extra bite. The Shape-shifter button takes things further with an additional 6dB of what Geddy calls "Schmegilka" - described by the man himself as "an indefinable thing of awesomeness!"

Built around Tech 21's proven 100% analogue SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology, this pedal covers the complete signal chain from pre-amp through power amp to speaker simulation. The integrated SansAmp speaker simulation works seamlessly with any guitar or bass cabinet setup, and you can add external IR processing afterwards for additional tonal shaping if desired.
