Push the Character control further and you’ll access the fat distortion tones that powered legendary recordings.
The unit incorporates a Blend control for adjusting the ratio between your direct signal and the SansAmp circuitry, plus a Bite switch that engages both a presence boost and subsonic filter. This combination lets you dial in everything from clean SVT®-style thump to dirty, earthquake-inducing low end that sounds absolutely massive. Power options include phantom power operation, 9V alkaline battery (sold separately), or the optional DC power supply (Tech 21 Model #DC4-A).
