The SansAmp Bass Driver DI delivers everything from vintage tube warmth to modern slap brightness, making it far more versatile than your typical direct injection box. This professional-grade unit features three separate outputs that can simultaneously feed power amplifiers, recording interfaces, and PA systems, whilst the comprehensive control set includes Presence for upper harmonic definition, Blend for mixing direct and processed signals, and active EQ with 12dB of cut or boost specifically calibrated for bass frequencies.

Recognising the widespread adoption of extended-range instruments, Tech 21 has incorporated a bass frequency switch that accommodates the lower registers of 5- and 6-string basses. The unit also features adjustable mid-range control with frequency switching, ensuring optimal tonal shaping across the entire bass spectrum whilst maintaining the authentic character that made the original SansAmp Bass Driver legendary.

The three-output configuration provides maximum flexibility with effected XLR and 1/4″ outputs plus a parallel uneffected 1/4″ output for complete signal routing options. A footswitch allows real-time activation of the tube amplifier emulation circuitry, and when disengaged, the unit functions as a pristine active direct box, making it an essential tool for both live performance and studio applications.
