The legendary TC 1210 Spatial Expander has been reborn as the TC1210-DT, combining the iconic rack unit’s coveted analogue sound with modern plugin convenience and a dedicated hardware controller. This exceptional stereo expander and modulation unit captures the organic, silky effects that made the original a studio staple for artists like Eric Clapton, Aphex Twin and Alex Lifeson. Built from original schematics and careful measurements, the TC1210-DT faithfully recreates every detail of the analogue circuitry, including the beautiful imperfections that gave the TC 1210 its legendary status.
At its core, the TC1210-DT features dual independent chorus-flanger engines powered by an ever-present Haas effect, creating dynamic modulation, static widening and psychoacoustic enhancements that breathe life into any mix. The sleek desktop controller puts all key parameters at your fingertips, featuring input/output meters and an innovative “Sigma LFO meter” that visually represents your modulation settings. This intuitive hands-on interface allows precise control over stereo patterns, modulation complexity and tonal characteristics, making it perfect for everything from subtle vocal enhancement to dramatic stereo expansion on drums and guitars.
The plugin’s versatility shines across all mix applications while maintaining full mono compatibility for playback on mobile devices and DAB radios. Custom Signature Presets created by renowned producers and engineers provide instant inspiration and record-ready settings. Supporting all modern plugin standards, the TC1210-DT integrates seamlessly with any DAW, offering complete automation and project recall capabilities whilst delivering the tactile control that fuels creativity in any studio environment.
