The Taylor Premium 351 Thermex Ultra guitar picks deliver warmth and articulation through an exclusive thermo-bonding process that shapes tonal response from the point of contact. Made in the USA, these Blue Swirl picks are the most popular option in Taylor's DarkTone Series, combining a classic 351 teardrop profile with 1.0mm gauge precision. The Thermex material enriches bass frequencies while maintaining high-end sparkle, offering a tonal balance that differs from standard celluloid or nylon alternatives.

Each pick in this 6-pack measures 1.0mm thick, precision-cut for consistency across strumming and single-note playing. The thermo-bonding manufacturing process fuses layers to create a denser material structure that influences string vibration and sustain characteristics. Taylor recommends holding thicker picks with a relaxed grip for softer dynamics rather than switching to thinner gauges, as the 1.0mm thickness produces fuller tone across dynamic ranges. The Blue Swirl variant is tonally identical to the Ruby Swirl option, differing only in aesthetic finish.
