A solid torrefied Sitka spruce top anchors this Special Edition acoustic–electric, delivering warmth and depth that mimic a well–played instrument straight out of the case. Taylor's GS Mini–e SE in Blue Burst combines layered sapele back and sides with a compact, travel–ready body that refuses to compromise on tonal output. The Blue Burst finish transitions from opaque colour at the outer edges to transparent clarity at the soundboard's centre, revealing straight wood grain beneath. A neo–tropical mahogany neck, West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, and shorter scale length contribute to the approachable playing feel this model is known for, whilst the non–cutaway design maximises acoustic resonance.

Onboard ES–B electronics provide amplified output with a built–in digital chromatic tuner, allowing clean translation of the guitar's natural voice through studio monitors or stage amplification. The narrower nut width and low factory action suit players seeking comfortable access across the fretboard without physical strain. D'Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Medium strings (.013–.056 gauge) ship as standard, offering corrosion resistance and extended tonal life. Layered sapele construction balances durability with affordability whilst maintaining consistent tonal characteristics. A structured gig bag accompanies each instrument at no additional cost, providing cushioned protection during transport and storage.

Manufactured at Taylor's Tecate, Mexico facility, each guitar displays individual wood grain patterns unique to its timber selection. Visual differences between instruments are inherent to the natural materials used. Taylor sources all tonewoods through ethical supply chains committed to sustainable forestry practices, ensuring responsible material acquisition throughout production.
