TASCAM's Sonicview series represents a revolutionary leap in digital mixing technology, combining cutting-edge hardware with intuitive control surfaces that put complete command at your fingertips. These next-generation mixing consoles feature fully customisable touch screens, user-definable buttons, and motorised faders, all powered by sophisticated control software that makes complex mixing tasks remarkably straightforward. Built-in Dante networking, a 32-bit/96 kHz multi-channel USB audio interface, and extensive I/O connectivity ensure seamless integration with any professional audio system.

The Sonicview 24 stands out with its innovative three-bank layout of motorised channel faderseight channels per bank plus a dedicated motorised stereo fader for the main bus. Above each fader bank sits a colour touch panel running the VIEW user interface, offering three distinct viewing modes that can be configured independently across all screens. This flexibility allows engineers to simultaneously monitor vocal levels on one screen, adjust parametric EQ on drum submixes via another, and track output bus levels and compression curves on the thirdall in real time.

Audio performance reaches exceptional standards through the implementation of a 54-bit float-point FPGA mixing engine, continuous 32-bit/96 kHz sampling, and premium 32-bit analogue-to-digital converters. The float-point processing architecture maintains pristine resolution during level changes, while the FPGA mixing engine ensures ultra-low latency across all connections, including Dante networks and in-line monitoring systems. Input capabilities include 24 XLR mic/line channels, 8 additional XLR mic inputs with balanced TRS line options, TRS insert points on two channels, dual stereo RCA aux inputs, and a dedicated XLR talkback mic input.

Each microphone input utilises TASCAM's Class 1 HDIA (High Definition Instrumentation Architecture) preampstheir finest microphone preamplification technology to date. These instrumentation amplifiers feature exceptional noise characteristics in the first stage, resulting in outstanding EIN, signal-to-noise ratio, distortion specifications, and frequency response. With the ability to handle signals up to +32 dBu, these ultra-definition preamps capture every subtle detail from violin bow rosin texture to the most delicate vocal and saxophone dynamics, providing ample headroom for unexpected level peaks.
