Tascam Series 102I 10x2 USB Audio/MIDI Interface

TASCAM's new SERIES audio interface family redefines professional recording with over six decades of audio engineering excellence behind every circuit. Built around TASCAM's Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Amplifier) mic preamp technology, these interfaces provide transparent, natural tone with ultra-low noise performance. The new-generation audio engine supports high-definition 24-bit/192 kHz recording with rock-solid stability, whilst the distinctive angled tabletop design and large, easy-to-grab knobs set a fresh standard for mid-grade audio interfaces.

Expandability remains at the core of the SERIES design, with S/MUX optical inputs allowing up to 8 additional channels per port from ADAT or S/MUX-compatible devices. The intuitive front-panel layout includes a prominent Monitor control knob for quick level adjustments and a Monitor Balance control that blends live input with computer playback for zero-latency monitoring. Each analogue input features individually switched +48V phantom power for condenser microphones, whilst dual headphone amplifiers provide powerful monitoring capabilities for multiple users.

Internal DSP processing sets these interfaces apart from the competition, featuring digital reverb, compressor, phase invert, and 4-band EQ for each channel. The included TASCAM Control software manages faders, processing, and flexible routing between any audio input (analogue, optical, and USB) to any output. This internal processing eliminates latency issues whilst reducing computer CPU load, allowing your PC or Mac to operate more efficiently during demanding recording sessions.

The SERIES interfaces support tablets and mobile devices, ensuring compatibility with current and future recording applications. Each unit comes bundled with professional software including Steinberg Cubase LE DAW for Windows and Mac, Steinberg Cubasis LE for iPad, IK Multimedia AmpliTube guitar and bass modelling software, and T-RackS mastering suite. Both standalone and plug-in versions of AmpliTube and T-RackS are included, providing a complete recording solution straight from the box.
