Built with the same performance standards and hardware quality as TASCAM Sonicview mixers, the SB-16D integrates effortlessly into Dante networks and supports multiple units for expanded I/O capabilities. The stage box features exceptionally quiet mic/line inputs with -128 dBu EIN and +32 dBu maximum input level, plus 8-in/8-out GPIOs that expand to 16-in/16-out when connected to TASCAM Sonicview mixers.

Each microphone input utilises TASCAM’s Class 1 HDIA (High Definition Instrumentation Architecture) preamp technology — their finest mic preamp design to date. These instrumentation amplifiers provide exceptional noise characteristics, excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and superior frequency response through 32-bit analog-to-digital converters operating at 96 kHz sampling frequency. The unit supports Dante Domain Manager alongside AES67 and SMPTE 2110 interoperability, with dual etherCON-compatible Dante ports enabling redundant streams and robust connections.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the SB-16D accommodates various installation scenarios with included 3U rack-mounting brackets offering two angle options, or stable floor operation with large rubber feet. Multiple units can be stacked for easy transport and installation stability, while the integrated handle ensures convenient portability.
